Please fill out the form below to apply online for a Novi Public Library e-card.

✔️ Enter your information exactly as it appears on your valid Michigan driver's license or state ID.

✔️ To be eligible for a Novi e-card, applicants must:

Be a Novi resident age 18 and older
Not have a library card with NPL already
Not live in or have a library card from another local area TLN shared system library (i.e. Northville, South Lyon, Lyon Twp., Wixom, Walled Lake, Commerce, etc.)

❌ If you do not meet the above requirements, your application will be invalid. You must visit NPL in person to register for a card.

What happens after clicking REGISTER?

▪️ You will be redirected to the library e-card submission confirmation page.

▪️ A few minutes later, you will receive an email detailing the status of your registration and if it was successful.

▪️ You may receive 1 of the 3 following emails. Check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

1️⃣ A confirmation email if your registration was successful.

▫️ It will contain your new e-card barcode number.

▫️ The last four digits of your phone number will be set as

your PIN for the purposes of using online services.

▫️ This will give you instant access to our Digital Library.

2️⃣ An email indicating you already have a library card with NPL.

▫️ It will contain your existing library card number.

3️⃣ An email indicating your registration was not successful.

▫️ This can happen due to one of several reasons.

▫️ You will need to visit the Library in person to register.
